USCCA Concealed Carry Fundamentals – Advanced Firearm Skills With Holster Draw

Course Summary

This dynamic, live-fire training experience bridges the gap between basic concealed carry concepts and real-world defensive application. Whether you’re new to carrying or ready to go beyond the basics, this course focuses on building safe, fast, and effective responses to real-life threats.

Starting with a review of safety, situational awareness, and marksmanship, students will quickly progress to drawing from concealment, balancing speed and accuracy, and performing under pressure.

With a combination of classroom insights and hands-on range time, you’ll leave with the confidence and competence to carry responsibly and respond effectively in a self-defense scenario.

Course Objectives

This class builds on the Defensive Shooting Fundamentals foundation and takes your concealed carry training to the next level. Focus areas include:

  • Draw efficiency from concealment
  • Speed vs. accuracy under real-world pressure
  • Dynamic live-fire drills for confidence and control
  • Decision-making under stress

By the end of the course, you’ll have the tools to engage threats more confidently—and more competently.

Course Description

This is not a basic pistol class—it’s designed for shooters ready to train with purpose. Through progressive, skill-building exercises, students will work on target transitions, one-handed shooting, movement, malfunctions, and more.

If you’ve ever wanted to improve your draw-to-shot time, enhance accuracy under stress, or simply become more prepared for the responsibilities of concealed carry, this class is your next step.

This course meets the range training requirement for the USCCA Protector Academy Qualification and gives you the green light to draw from the holster on The Brigade range during approved hours. Train with confidence and elevate your skills under professional supervision!
